Stampede Skin



So this is the part of the year that I usually hide from Calgary.  But 100 years is something to celebrate!  Here are a few tips to help get through Stampede looking great and not like you were run over by a train for 10 days. 

1. Hydrate. Your skin loves water. It wants to marry it. Let them be together! For every alcoholic beverage you drink, have 2 glasses of water. 

2. Sweat. Nothing beats a hangover like a good workout at the gym. Even walking for 30 minutes every morning with a bottle of agua to boost your metabolism. 

3. Wash that pretty face of yours before bedtime. Nothing is worse than leaving all the pollutants you picked up during the day on your skin to soak in while you sleep. 

4. Have a facial during Stampede week. Take 20 minutes from your day to give your skin some love and attention. Your skin will look like a million bucks afterwards. Hydrated, healthy, happy & hot!

5. Use the good stuff. Glo mineral make up has an SPF of 20, perfect protection when you're on the grounds. No need to reapply fully every 2 hours, just powder your nose when you need to.
