Holiday Feasting and your Skin
Christmas is the season of family, love, gifting, and eating. Leading up to the holidays, I read through a string of 20 emails my family tossed around about who is bringing what to Christmas Dinner. We could feed an army. There are many myths out there about what food does to your skin, what foods are great and what foods to stay away from. If you love sweet food or salty food (or in my case, both), Christmas isn't the time to try to have a rigid diet. (In my family, if you don't have 2 servings, they'll feel your forehead for a fever). However, please promise me that you will do your best to minimize the high glycemic index foods. Yes, that means those delicious Ferrero Rocher and Toffifee. High sugar foods can cause degeneration of your cells. From time to time, cells will replace themselves with weaker cells if it is malnourished. Cells are capable of replacing itself with a stronger cell (regeneration). This won't occur with a milk and cookies diet over the holidays. I know indulgence around this season is hard to get around ... so at least ensure that your facial cream is an anti-pollutant and a regenerator! Yonka's Vital Defense and Advanced Optimizer Serum are the perfect combination to regenerate your cells over the holidays. Wishing you happy skin this Christmas :)
